After several outdoor Kitchen installations on The keys of Southwest Florida, Jason was introduced to The Green Egg Smoker. It was an intrigue and desire to learn how to smoke meat that would not come to fruition until about 10 years later.

Summer of 2019 finally became the momentous season to begin the Bbq adventure on the very Coveted Green Egg. Yes, The Cappon Family finally had acquired their own Smoker. Several Bbq videos later & very intrigued with the recipes & processes of Franklin Barbecue - the Cappon Family began their epic adventures on The Egg.
They soon became extremely strategic in their menu planning for their Saturdays & Sunday’s. Free time became “What are we going to Bbq this Weekend”? It was fun and brought a lot of creativity as every member of the family tried to bring their favorite flavors to the different rubs and sauces. What started out as just “family fun” quickly became a pursuit of “How can we completely Rock this recipe?”. Not only excellence but creativity became the name of the game.

All through out 2019 & in early 2020 the family began hosting different friends & family as they showcased their Bbq at thier dinners. Everyone started to compliment & mention how much they truly enjoyed and loved the Bbq.
Their start on the Egg would lead to a love of “Smoked Bbq”. Eventually graduating to an offset Smoker. Where Hickory Hardwood and building the perfect fire became key to that perfect smoke Ring on Brisket and all Smoked Meats.

One weekend during the Required Covid 19 Quarantine the family showcased their Weekend Bbq adventure on Social media. People would comment, “Do you offer Curbside?” ..... and that question started the wheels of an Entrepreneurial Quest.
One Hashtag later, the name “Main Street Smoke” became the name that would encapsulate the Cappon Family’s Barbecue Business. Awesome Bbq was not just a pipe dream anymore. Their adventures on the Smoker would be shared with other families looking for good Bbq.

And it’s ok & completely normal to “Freak Out” about good Bbq. - freaking out about Good bbq is completely normal in the Cappon Fam - Welcome to the Family!
